Recover Hope Newsletter
November 2020

The Month and Year of Thanksgiving

“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.”Isaiah 61:1

We are excited to share the first Recover Hope Newsletter with you! What better time of year to give thanks for all that has been accomplished in this short span of time. We started the year 2020 with a revival of the nonprofit Recover Hope, Inc, followed by COVID. God in His wisdom and abundant provision, has granted us so many provisions during this time of shutdown and physical distancing.

Our Mission is to serve in every aspect in the fight against Human Trafficking starting in Chesterfield County and the Tri-Cities areas. We will provide education to our communities, and restoration of survivors to a life in the mainstream free of fear, and full of confidence, knowing they are valued.

We hope you will join us as we build this organization to educate our communities and to facilitate healing for human trafficking survivors.

We thank God for:
-the opportunity to serve through His direction and instilling in us the passion to do the work
-time to absorb the knowledge of the ever-changing social injustice of human trafficking
-local and national organizations that have greeted us with outstretched hands, offering help with many facets and encouraging us as we grow

-partnerships with local law enforcement, Commonwealth’s attorneys, legislators, survivor advocates, and survivors of human trafficking

-many local community resources

-partnerships of friends, businesses and churches

-volunteers who are willing to help in any way they can

-Recover Hope staff, Board of Directors and Advisory Committee

-all the doors that God is opening to propel us on our way

We would love for you to share some of the things you are grateful for this year at [email protected]

Please help by joining us in prayer for:
-Victims still in need of rescue and healing worldwide, nationally and locally
-Funding for three safe houses and staff
-The best places to open homes for survivors
